Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the docwhispr software and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Seller / operator. The Service is provided by the legal entity identified as the seller on your Paddle checkout, order confirmation, and subscription or renewal emails ("we", "us"), operating the docwhispr brand.

1. The Service

docwhispr provides software-as-a-service features for organizing documents, highlights, and related workflows. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization; interfering with other users; or using the Service to violate applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed through Paddle as merchant of record. Fees, taxes, and billing cycles are shown at checkout. Your use of Paddle's checkout is also subject to Paddle's terms and policies.

5. Intellectual property

We retain rights in the Service, branding, and underlying software. You retain rights in content you upload, subject to the license needed for us to operate the Service for you.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that outputs (including AI-assisted highlights) are error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim or fifty (50) USD.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above where reasonable.
